VACATION POLICY

Salaried Employees who have one or more years of continuous employment with the company are permitted to take time off for vacation without interruption of their salaries. Unless a different agreement is put forth in a 'hire' statement, after one year an employee is entitled to one (1) week of vacation. After two (2) years an employee is entitled to two (2) weeks vacation. The employee's salary will continue during their absence. Vacation is computed from anniversary of employment. Vacation is not accumulated. An employee cannot quit and expect to be paid for the vacation that was not taken.  The following are the requirements for receiving this benefit;

  • Employee must work the preceding two (2)  weeks.
  • Request for leave must be submitted three (3) weeks in advance.
  • Leave form must be submitted and approved.
  • Employee must return to work
  • Vacation during peak months of bidding are discouraged. This is the period from August to September 30.
  • Vacations are not to be requested during the preceding or succeeding week of vacations of the owners.
  • Only one (1) week of vacation can be taken at a time with at least one (1) month between.

Determinations and interpretations of this policy are by the principals of the corporation. The principals reserve the right to modify this policy in the case of urgent personal need.
